We’re thankful for some recent support that is helping push the pickleball courts project closer to the finish line.

A big thank you to the Hanson Family Foundation (MBT Bank) for their generous $12,000 donation. We also want to recognize Community and Economic Development Associates (CEDA) for their help in writing the grant that made this possible.

And thank you to the Mantorville Restoration Association for their recent contribution as well.

We appreciate everyone who continues to step up and help make this pickleball project move forward!

Pickleball Courts Update:

The courts are close to being done, but we’re not quite there yet. Friends of Mantorville is working to raise the remaining funds needed for the netting around the outside of the courts and the signage that has to be installed before it can officially open.

If your business would like to get involved, there are a few sponsorship options available, including logo placement on the permanent sponsor sign at the courts and other recognition opportunities. Message us for more details.

The nets are going up and the lines are painted — the new pickleball courts at Slingerland Park are really starting to take shape! We’re on track to have them completed this fall, and we can’t wait to welcome players of all ages.

This project has been 100% community-funded. Now, we’re in the home stretch — we’re looking to raise $25,000 more to complete the final touches: fencing, landscaping and signage.

Every donation brings us closer to opening day. Whether it’s $25 or $2,500, your support will help create an active space for our community to enjoy for years to come.

Angels Among Us stopped by Mantorville and gave a $2,000 donation toward our new pickleball courts! Their support helps bring us closer to our goal.

Friday, Angels Among Us made a stop in Mantorville, MN. We presented a $2,000 check to Friends of Mantorville. Friends of Mantorville has taken on an enormous project, building three brand-new pickleball courts, that can be enjoyed by hundreds of youth! They need funding for the concrete slab, fencing, landscaping and signage. They are just $30,000 away from their goal! If you would like to donate, email them at [email protected].

The concrete is poured. The layout is set. And soon, Slingerland Park in Mantorville will be home to three brand-new pickleball courts!

Over the past year, we’ve raised $90,000 through private donations and grassroots support. Now we’re just $30,000 away from finishing strong with fencing, landscaping and signage.

This project has been 100% community-funded — no city or tax dollars — and we’re incredibly proud of what we’ve built together. But we need one final push to get these courts ready for play.
