Tonight, our firefighters conducted ice rescue training, practicing techniques used to safely reach and remove victims from icy water. Training like this ensures our crews are prepared to respond quickly and safely when real emergencies happen.

🚒 Public Safety Reminder ❄️

With the recent snowfall, the MFD is asking residents to please clear snow away from nearby fire hydrants. Maintaining a visible and accessible hydrant, with about 3 feet of clearance on all sides, ensures firefighters can act quickly during an emergency.
