Today we had a couple of special guests with us as we packed 370 bags of food to be distributed the next two Fridays. Deanna Maddox from The Keystone Gusher came to do a story on our program. Among the 18 volunteers today was, Kaylin, the granddaughter of our founders, Wayne and Deanna Muirheid.

We appreciate all of our volunteers and our donors that make this all possible.

Yesterday the team received the first shipment from Phelps for the new school year. All the bins are full for the team to fill the bags for backpacks tomorrow. The food will be distributed on Friday. We are looking forward to a great school year!

The school year is coming to an end and our volunteers are working to ensure the food goes into backpacks before the last day. Our organization utilizes the schools dedicated teachers and bus drivers to distribute the food to the kids that are signed up for the program. Thank you to all the teachers and bus drivers who help this program run with their efforts. You are greatly appreciated.

Today was a busy day for Mannford Food for Kids!

You may have seen our volunteers in front of Phelps Market today helping people understand our mission and collecting donations. Watch for us again in May.

We also packed food for kids to take home tomorrow since they are out of school on Friday.
