Yesterday’s Axes for Aneurysms event was more than we ever hoped for — and it’s entirely because of this community.

Thanks to the generosity of our attendees, sponsors, volunteers, and supporters, we raised $6,000 yesterday alone. Combined with sponsorships and behind-the-scenes donations, we are incredibly proud to share that we are able to fully fund a Chair of Research in Kati’s name through the Brain Aneurysm Foundation.

This is a moment we will never forget.

This event was made possible by our amazing sponsors, who believed in this mission from the very beginning and put their faith behind it. To our volunteers, who showed up early, stayed late, and kept everything running smoothly — we could not have done this without you.

A huge thank you to Tapped on the Lakeshore for hosting us and creating a space that felt welcoming, meaningful, and exactly right for honoring Kati.

We also want to recognize the incredible generosity of our 50/50 raffle winners, Patrick Krause and Debbie O’Connor, who chose to donate a portion of their winnings back to the cause — a gesture that truly speaks to the heart of this community.

And finally, congratulations to our axe throwing champion, Patrick Krause — well-earned and well-thrown 🪓

Yesterday proved what’s possible when people come together with purpose. Kati’s name will live on through research, awareness, and impact — and that is because of every single person who showed up.
