Planting season is officially here, and our farmers are in full grind mode. 🌱🚜

We asked members of Seven Rivers to share:
📸 one photo
📝 one word
that captures what this season feels like right now.

A couple members kicked us off — now we want to hear from the rest of you.

Drop YOUR:
• one photo from the field, shop, tractor cab, planter, sunrise, late night, muddy boots, coffee cup… whatever today looks like
• and ONE word describing this season for you

Busy. Hopeful. Exhausted. Focused. Grateful. Chaos. Go time.

Let’s show what spring in Wisconsin agriculture really looks like. 👇

đź‘€ Be on the lookout!

We have a planting green pop-up field day in the works with Chris & Jenny Reichert of Reichert Land & Cattle!

Attendees will get to watch corn being planted into standing cereal rye, check planter setup and adjustments, and dig into discussion about what's working, what to watch for, and why it matters.

📌 More details coming soon - date and time TBD!

It was great to connect with Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection and the Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions, and spend time on the ground talking about what soil health and water quality look like in real life—not just on paper.

From cover crops holding soil in place after recent rains to everyday decisions that protect our land and water, these practices don’t just happen overnight. They’re built over time by farmers who are willing to try, learn, and improve.

We’re proud to be part of a network that’s focused on practical solutions, shared learning, and long-term stewardship.

Because progress doesn’t happen in one day—it happens in the choices we make every day.

Happy Earth Day 🌱

For farmers, taking care of the land isn’t a one-day thing—it’s part of the job, every day.

We see it across our membership:
âś” Trying new practices
âś” Paying attention to soil health
âś” Making improvements where it counts

Even small changes add up over time—and that’s how real progress happens.

Today, we want to recognize and thank the farmers who are putting in that extra effort. It doesn’t go unnoticed.

We’re proud to be part of a group that’s working toward better soil, cleaner water, and stronger farms—one decision at a time.
