Here's the 'Tree Guy' behind the idea of 'Evergleams On Eighth' which started in 2015! He had a collection of trees & he displayed them in the Downtown Manitowoc businesses for the holidays, that year and all these years since! We wonder how many enthusiasts started with his example??? He's holding some ribbons his trees earned at the 3rd Annual Aluminum Tree Exhibition, which just concluded on 7/25/26.

We're really excited to be adding FOUR new awards to this year's tree exhibition, all in remembrance of men who were instrumental in the creation of the Aluminum Specialty Evergleam here in Manitowoc. Tom Gannon, Wes Martin, Richard Thomsen, and the dynamo salesman Jerry Waak are all featured this year with memorial ribbons. If you have a tree, you can show it this year and maybe win one of these very awards! Otherwise, we hope to see you at the show - in the beautiful Historic Schuette Building - and we'll find out together which exhibits will be chosen in remembrance of these legendary gentlemen.
