UPDATE: ACHILLES FOUND A NEW HOME. THAT HOME LASTED A TOTAL OF 72 HOURS. ACHILLES ADOPTION FEE HAS NOW BEEN RAISED TO $500 TO DETER PEOPLE WHO DO NOT HAVE THE FUNDS OR DETERMINATION TO GIVE HIM WHAT HE DESERVES.

Achilles is still available for adoption. He has been fostered for several months now, and it is time for him to find his forever home. He has made incredible progress during his time in foster care. Showing much better manners than when he started, learning how to comfortably live as an indoor dog despite no prior experience inside, and making huge gains in impulse control. He has even had exposure to therapy dog and demo dog work.
He is ready to join a family who will continue to help him thrive. He still has some challenges surrounding squirrels and cats, so while he may not be perfect, he just might be perfect for you.
Please consider opening your home to this very special dog and giving Achilles the chance he deserves.

He is improving daily while being fostered by one of the most educated dog trainers Mary Hager holding rare accreditations such as the CPDT-KSA. This is high quality training he is receiving (and will continue to receive once adopted, thanks to funding provided by our generous donors)
