On the ballot: vote NO on the proposed Kansas constitutional amendment and vote to RETAIN all judges up for retention.

There was no clear consensus within IMHK on the City of Manhattan sales tax question.

➡ The Rally for Democracy is ON! We are moving just across the street: PEACE AUDITORIUM (in City Hall) 1101 POYNTZ AVE, still 1:30 PM! A little rain won't stop us celebrating our pro-democracy candidates and showing our support! Plus enjoying some live music and raising our voices in song! See you there! 🌻 🇺🇸

WE DID IT!! We made it through the work week and right to the doorstep of Rally for Democracy! Please join us for a whole slate of inspiring speakers, fun activities, live music, and a positive protest!

Hear Cindy Holscher for Kansas, Chris Mann, Brenda Bandy for Kansas and others give exciting speeches about the hopes and plans they have for the future of Kansas

Learn to sing resistance songs from Jamie Bunce and then turn over the real songmaking to the absolute pros at The Manhattan Project!

We're not done yet, though: we will meander over to Poyntz to cheer our hearts out with signs about the policies YOU want to promote 😄

We meet at 1:30pm at the Larry Norvell Band Shell! See you tomorrow!

We are SO READY for this week to be over so we can Rally for Democracy!

We get to hear incredible speeches from Cindy Holscher for Kansas, Chris Mann, and Brenda Bandy for Kansas PLUS a keynotes from Terrell Campbell, the President of NAACP Manhattan Branch #4046

We will enjoy live music from The Manhattan Project and make some live music with Jamie Bunce

Afterwards, we are headed to Poyntz for a positive protest. Bring a sign that promotes the policies you want to see enacted in Kansas! Maybe it's fully-funded SNAP and WIC, maybe it's a moratorium on data centers, maybe it's expansion of Medicaid. YOU TELL US!
