Youth season hunt update
~~~~~~~~~🦆~~~~~~~~~

Today a couple of us got to take two kiddos on their first duck hunt.

From starting the morning out looking at constellations and talking duck story’s to watching hundreds of birds overhead drop in from the fog, these two got to watch just about every species of duck work decoys this morning.

Not only was it a special hunt being both kids very first duck hunt but it was a special hunt watching the smiles on their faces learning about the birds, the sounds the different species make, and watching birds buzz between their heads,helping setup decoys, wind direction, the hide..

Every aspect as to why waterfowl hunting is so special, was on full display today.

The stars aligned and the work put in paid off in full today.

Thank you to the parents for trusting us to help teach the next generation what this crazy sport is all about!

Heres to the lifelong story telling and many more hunts to come.

11-17 Years of age (Adult must be present through the hunt)

There will be two boats from our committee members that are wanting to take 2 Youth hunters out for the Kansas Youth waterfowl season.
