The New Tang Dynasty (NTD) International Piano Competition is one of a series of international cultural and arts events sponsored by NTDTV. With the mission of promoting traditional arts of pure authenticity,

pure goodness, and pure beauty, the competition is dedicated to reviving the glory of piano masterpieces from the Baroque, Classical, and Romantic periods. The NTD International Piano Competition provides a platform for outstanding pianists from around the world to deepen their understanding of the classical repertoire and share the timeless spirit and beauty of traditional music. The 8th NTD International Piano Competition is to be held in New York City on September 1st – 5th, 2026.

Unlike most international piano competitions, which emphasize technical excellence and career advancement, the NTD International Piano Competition is uniquely dedicated to reviving the spiritual and cultural essence of the classical tradition—embodying pure authenticity, pure goodness, and pure beauty.

🎶 🎼 The Competition strives to bring back the glory of piano masterpieces from the Baroque, Classical and Romantic periods.

All pianists between the ages of 17 and 35 who share this pursuit in their musical and artistic journey are warmly invited to participate.

🥈Silver Award, 1 winner, US$6,000
🥉Bronze Award, 1 winner, US$3,000
Best Rendition Award of the Commissioned Composition, 2 winners, US$3,000 each

🎹 Did you know? Since 2016, the NTD Int'l Piano Competition releases a designated song every year competition!

✨ The 2024 commissioned piece, “Holy Grace,” comes from an ancient work by Mr. DF, Artistic Director of Shen Yun Performing Arts, and was beautifully adapted for piano by composer Qin Yuan. It reflects the charm and depth of 5,000 years of classical culture.
