Lina Liu Artist Group proudly brought the art of traditional Chinese sugar painting to Linden Public Schools today ✨

Crafted live with molten sugar, each piece is created in seconds — carrying centuries of cultural heritage into the hands of the next generation 🍯🐅

We are honored to share this interactive cultural experience and connect students with the beauty of Chinese traditional art 💛

🐎 Year of the Horse | Paper Horse Craft

In the Year of the Horse, the horse represents energy, courage, and forward movement in Chinese culture.
In this nonprofit paper-folding activity, children and families create their own little paper horses while learning about the meaning of the Lunar New Year through hands-on art and storytelling.

A simple craft, a meaningful tradition, and a joyful way to connect with culture.

🏮 Chinese Lantern Handcraft Art | Cultural & Educational Workshop

Chinese lanterns are an important symbol of light, unity, and hope in Chinese culture.
As a nonprofit arts organization, we offer this Chinese Lantern Handcraft Workshop to help children, families, and communities learn through making, sharing, and storytelling.

Participants create their own lanterns while discovering the cultural traditions behind Lunar New Year and the Lantern Festival. Our goal is to make traditional culture accessible, meaningful, and affordable for educational and community settings

As we look back on this beautiful day, our hearts are full of gratitude. 💖
Thank you to the Manhattan Children’s Museum for your warm invitation and thoughtful coordination — your leadership made this event truly meaningful.
We’re also deeply thankful to LMCC (Lower Manhattan Cultural Council) for believing in our vision and supporting our community arts journey through the Creative Engagement grant.

Moments like these remind us why we do what we do — to bring joy, culture, and inspiration to families across New York.
Here’s to more laughter, learning, and shared creativity in the year ahead. 🌸
