TMA sales begin October 1 at www.vtvast.org. All TMAs will be sold through the vast website moving forward. In-person and mail-in sales are no longer available. All last year members will be receiving a card in the mail with a unique member ID to use when completing the online form in the next couple weeks. The ID is not necessary, but helps the process go a little faster by prefilling your information. (However, an ID is required for family rate on third+ TMA. You will receive that ID after buying your first TMA)

Pricing for 2021 TMAs remains the same as last year. However, depending on your club, you may see a change in club dues pricing. In going to 100% online sales, all club dues are a standard $30 plus a $5 process fee to cover credit card fees and mailing. This will put money directly into the hands of clubs immediately to maintain the trail system. We hope to see you on the trails this winter! Play SAFE!

Clubs will receive information on how to assign volunteer TMAs soon. A video walking through the online TMA purchase process will also be available before Oct. 1.

VAST Trails Close For The Season

Dear VAST Members.

After consultation with the Governor’s Office, the Vermont Association of Snow Travelers (VAST) has decided to officially close snowmobile trails in Vermont for the season, effective March 25. Given the public health situation we find ourselves in, this is the right decision for the safety of our members and the public.

We would like to thank our members, the landowners and club volunteers who do so much for snowmobiling in Vermont. And remember, if we all do our part to slow the spread of COVID-19, we can look forward to getting back to snowmobiling in December!

We hope you stay safe and healthy.

Our entire trail system North and South was run yesterday in an effort to fill the remaining holes!! Land grove is now open so parking is available now. Mad Tom Notch is still closed due to the ongoing logging operation. Conditions are pretty good.

Sled parking is available as well as a parking lot that will fit a few trucks with trailers. Ride our groomed trail 7F4 straight down to the end, then proceed down Rootville Rd.
