What began as a vision through Access for All became measurable impact in our community.

Through the collective efforts of YUME Legacy, Leadership Prince William, AFC Woodbridge, Micron, Prince William County Community Foundation, and the Park City DREAMERS, we helped deliver 478 physicals to local youth.

That means greater access to school, sports, wellness, and opportunity.

But 478 is not the finish line.

We’re already building toward Access for All 2027, and we need our community beside us again.

STOP SCROLLING: This picture isn’t about basketball. It’s about who these young men are becoming.

When I look at this photo of our Dreamers Elite 17U team, I don’t just see athletes.

I see future lawyers. Doctors. Entrepreneurs. Coaches. Husbands. Fathers. Community builders.

And most importantly, I see the next generation of leaders — young men of character, integrity, discipline and purpose.

This is what the crystallization of a dream looks like.

When we co-founded the Dreamers, the vision was never simply to create another basketball program. Basketball was the vehicle. Development was always the destination.

Yes, we want these young men to compete at the highest level. We want scholarships, college opportunities, championships and doors to open because of what they accomplish on the court.

But the outcome that matters most won't always appear on a scoreboard.

It will show up years from now in the families they lead.
The businesses they build.
The communities they serve.
The young people they mentor.
The decisions they make when nobody is watching.

Through Dreamers Elite and YUME Legacy, we are planting seeds today for impact we may not fully see for another 10, 20 or 30 years.

That's the work.

That's the mission.

That's the legacy.

One day, basketball will stop bouncing for every young man in this picture. Our responsibility is to make sure their DREAMS don't stop with it.

Proud of these young men. Even more excited about the men they are becoming.

We aren't simply developing basketball players. We're helping develop the leaders our communities will need next.

Sometimes the biggest opportunities in life are earned long before anyone offers them.

During our Legacy Leadership Workshop, Coach Daniel J. Burke challenged our Dreamers Elite student-athletes with one unforgettable question:

Who’s watching?

College coaches aren’t just recruiting talent.
They’re recruiting character.

They’re watching how you respond to failure.
How you treat your teammates.
How you lead when nobody is applauding.

Because your reputation often arrives before you do.

That message hit home.

What if the only thing standing between a child and their education was a simple physical?

More than 5,000 students in Prince William County were unable to start school because they lacked required physicals and vaccinations.

At YUME Legacy, we believe access should never determine a child's future.

That's why we launched Access for All—bringing our community together to remove barriers and create opportunity. Thanks to the incredible support of our sponsors, volunteers, and community, we raised over $13,500 to help provide free physicals for local youth.

This wasn't just a basketball game. It was hope in action.

Because every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and chase their dreams.

QUESTION: What if the greatest thing we could give a young person isn’t money… but a bigger vision for their future?

Every child deserves the opportunity to see beyond their current circumstances.

These moments at George Mason weren’t just about basketball—they were about exposure. Because when young people walk onto a college campus, meet leaders, and experience new possibilities, they begin to believe, “I belong here too.”

Faith teaches us that “where there is no vision, the people perish.” Sometimes God expands that vision simply by changing a young person’s environment.

At YUME Legacy, we believe exposure creates opportunity, opportunity builds confidence, and confidence unlocks purpose.

If we want to change lives, we must first expand what our youth can see.

💰🏀 BUILDING CHAMPIONS ON THE COURT AND IN LIFE. 🏀💰

On May 2, YUME Legacy and the Park City DREAMERS proudly partnered with John Marshall Bank to launch the first session of our Financial Leadership Series, focused on one of the most important life skills anyone can develop: Budgeting.

Far too often, financial education is treated as optional when it should be foundational. Through meaningful conversation, practical tools, and real-world examples, participants gained valuable insights into managing money, creating financial goals, and building habits that lead to long-term success. Because financial freedom doesn’t happen by accident—it happens through intentional planning and disciplined decision-making.

A special thank you to Mayor Derrick Wood of Dumfries for taking time out of his schedule to join us and support this important initiative. Your presence reinforces the importance of investing in the education, empowerment, and future of our community. We are also incredibly grateful to John Marshall Bank for facilitating the session and continuing to be a champion for financial literacy throughout Prince William County.
