Pics from the walk to end Alzheimer’s. It was such a great walk. With some of my favorite people. Mary Driver-Downes as Garfield with her pooky bear. Puss in boots, Cheshire Cat and two elegant cats. Thank you Texas Roadhouse for hosting another successful fundraiser to benefit Domestic Violence Awareness. The food was awesome and your customers come through in a big way. We appreciate what you do for the community.

We have an event coming up. SEPTEMBER 10,2026. Between the hours of 3pm and 10pm we will be at Texas Roadhouse on Liberia Ave in Manassas. They have the best food 🥩 and the most fun. We are having one of our delicious Bake Sales 🧁 too. Come in or do Take-Out and have a meal. 🍔 Tell them you are supporting the Woman’s Club. The proceeds are going towards Domestic Violence Awareness and the Domestic Violence Shelter. They help victims everyday. We are just trying to do our part to help in any way we can. You can help us do that just by having a good time. Thank you to all who come and participate. ❤️

Every community is affected by domestic violence and sexual assault.

On September 26, GFWC members across the country will unite for a shared Day of Service dedicated to raising awareness, supporting survivors, and strengthening local partnerships working to create safer communities.

Whether through service projects, donation drives, educational programs, or advocacy efforts, every action contributes to a larger impact.

Together, GFWC clubs are turning awareness into action.

Thank you to our generous community and to Giant Foods for another successful food drive. We are starting the school year off right for the new Jennie Dean Elementary School and for the Unity Braxton Middle School. We need kids to be Healthy and well nourished so they can reach their full potential. Thank you for making that happen.

Saturday August 15th. From 10am to 2 pm we will be at the Giant on Dumfries Rd Manassas. This food drive will benefit local school food pantries. Stop by and say hello.

Our Crafternoon was a great success. Beautiful flower arrangements made for the senior center and so many rocks painted to celebrate our 100 years of service to our community. Thank you all who participated and to the new people the came to join in the fun. We were so glad to meet you.
