Introducing the Justin Laidler challenge coin. Of course there’s a story with them.

About three weeks before the Laidler Classic, Justin asked what kind of swag we were getting. He had found the “Tee for Z” towel; a golf tournament we had done for a coworker fighting pancreatic cancer. Ultimately, I knew we would do some swag but swag costs money and we wanted the Laidler Classic to be maximum profit. In that single conversation, my mind shifted from a fundraiser to a rally. Laidler loves challenge coins and while I knew there wasn’t time to make them, I asked what he thought would be cool to have on them. Shortly later, as I was immediately mission focused on trying to pull off the challenge coin design, production and a change of direction in Laidler Classic swag… my friend Lou Berecz reached out to help with a company he works with (Logotags). Lou immediately got working on swag designs, pricing and gave me his word he would get it all done in time. I took what Laidler told me for his idea of a challenge coin… and shortly after we were in production.

All of the Laidler Classic swag and iconic Justin Laidler challenge could not have happened without Lou’s help. Lou works as a Fire Marshall in a neighboring jurisdiction and my stress level was almost minimal because I trusted that Lou would handle it.

When it is mentioned that the Laidler Classic couldn’t have happened without a small village working together… we really mean it. Thanks Lou!!

Justin Laidler challenge coins are for sale now!! $20/coin… pickup in Manassas, Frederick or Woodstock. Email [email protected] to get yours. We do have a limited number. ❤️🤍💙

The 19th Hole food was sponsored by Mission BBQ 13944 Promenade St, Gainesville, VA). This is more than just Mission BBQ doing ANOTHER good deed for public safety. The Gainesville location has an employee named Emma who is also a volunteer at a neighboring fire department. She heard about the Laidler Classic and reached out immediately to ask how they can help!!! Emma is so sweet and really goes above and beyond to ensure her company can do everything possible to help out the community. Plus, she really likes us in Manassas!! 😁

The number of people- many complete strangers- that pulled together to help with the Laidler Classic was unreal!! ❤️ Thanks so much for being a great person Emma!!!

In an honest attempt to NOT run a Laidler Classic swag shop out of my living room… I’m running a Laidler Classic swag shop out of my living room. 😜.

We have been hustling a lot of swag for the Laidler Classic. We currently have Laidler Classic t-shirts for sale ($15) sizes large, extra large and 2x. We have Laidler support t-shirts ($25) and those are the ones with the tower and support ribbon. We have sizes medium, large, extra large and 2x.

Venmo is the preferred method and goes directly to Justin (Justin-Laidler…. And it has the Laidler classic logo for the icon). Plus he gets to see all the people that are supporting the cause!! Email [email protected]

Pickup is in Manassas, Frederick or Woodstock.

Justin is a man of connections. He’s the “hey wait, I know a guy…” person. He makes it a point to remember names and not just faces… all while building relationships with so many different people. Justin worked for the City of Manassas for over fifteen years and could probably draw an org chart of our public works department with who does what. Glen Martin and his crew were no different. These guys proudly wore their Laidler support shirts while working the City of Manassas 4th of July event! ❤️🤍💙 Brittany Laidler Justin Michael
