This week, The Shore Movement (Brick Morning Rotary and Wingman Foundation) delivered 700 pounds of food to Lanes Mill Elementary and Veterans Memorial Elementary schools in Brick. Lanes Mill is starting a pantry and Vets Memorial has an existing (amazing) pantry and resource room.
Our local families need help, and these fantastic programs are RIGHT THERE with the kids who know what their families need. The counselors, teachers and administrators we met are so caring and inspiring!
The majority of the food we donate year round is collected through local businesses. More bins in business locations will help us help more families in northern Ocean and southern Monmouth counties. Would your business host a collection bin? We can bring it next week!
