Juneteenth is a time to honor freedom, reflect on our shared history, and celebrate the strength, culture, and resilience that continue to shape our future. We invite alumni, families, students, staff, and community members to join us for an evening of music, food, activities, fellowship, and celebration.

🎉 Congratulations, Lorraine! 🎉

Malverne High School senior Lorraine Akou has been named a 2026 National Honor Society Scholarship finalist! Selected from thousands of applicants nationwide and from NHS chapters overseas, Lorraine earned this honor for her outstanding scholarship, leadership, service and character.

This fall, she will attend Emory University to study neuroscience and behavioral biology on a pre-med track.

The Malverne schools community is so proud of her achievement! 💙🧡

The Davison Avenue Ambassadors are writing a formal proposal to nominate the Lakeview Public Library (formerly Woodfield Road School) for historic landmark designation.

To strengthen this proposal, the Ambassadors are seeking alumni support through lived experiences from individuals who attended MUFSD schools between 1950-1970. These firsthand accounts will directly support the case for landmark designation.
