Severe thunderstorm waring for Carter and Ripley Counties. 50 to 60 MPH winds possible as this storms collapses. Storm is moving southeast around 20MPH but is weakening fast.

Two years from TODAY, Poplar Bluff, Missouri will sit right on the line of totality for the 2024 solar eclipse with one of the largest durations in the country!

expected.

* WHERE...Portions of southwest Indiana, southeast Missouri,
western Kentucky and southern Illinois.

* WHEN...From 7 AM to 7 PM CDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree
limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
Driving of higher profile vehicles could become more difficult.
