🧹✨ COMMUNITY CLEANUP DAY IS ALMOST HERE! ✨🧹

Who's ready to roll up their sleeves and help us continue transforming downtown Manning?

Join us on Sunday, June 7 at 1:00 PM as we kick off the next phase of our alley revitalization project! Our goal is to bring together 30-50 volunteers of all ages to help clean up, paint, pull weeds, spread crushed concrete, and make a visible difference in our community.

Whether you can stay for 30 minutes or a few hours, every helping hand makes an impact. Bring your family, your friends, your neighbors, or just yourself—we would love to have you!

👟 Please wear comfortable closed-toe shoes.
🧤 We have a limited number of work gloves available, so if you have your own, please bring them along.
🎨 We are also looking to borrow a couple of paint sprayers for the day. If you have one you'd be willing to let MAP borrow on Sunday, please send us a message!

We are so excited to see what we can accomplish together. Let's show what a small town can do when a community comes together! ❤️

🎉 Congratulations to our 2026 BIC Mini Grant Recipients! 🎉

We are excited to recognize two local businesses that are continuing to invest in their future and the future of Manning!

👏 Jeanne Kerkhoff- Northwestern Mutual
Grant funds were used to renovate and update office space, transforming Emily's office into a larger conference room that provides a more comfortable and professional environment for meeting with clients. The changes also allowed Emily to move her workspace closer to Jeanne's as she continues to learn and grow in her role. These improvements support long-term succession planning and help position the business for continued success.

👏 Manning Auto Parts -Napa Manning
Grant funds helped refresh the Milwaukee display with new tools, display racks, and updated advertising materials. These enhancements have significantly improved one of their top-selling product lines and help ensure customers can continue to purchase trusted Milwaukee products locally, with the same competitive pricing and warranty options they would find elsewhere.

These projects are great examples of businesses investing in growth, improving customer experiences, and planning for the future. Thank you both for your commitment to Manning and for continuing to strengthen our local business community!

Yesterday I had the honor of graduating from the Carroll County Leadership Institute! 🎓

Over the last several months, I had the opportunity to dive into topics focused on Ag & Small Business, Healthcare, Education, Economic Development, Government, Tourism, and Ethics. Beyond the classroom discussions, one of the best parts was getting a behind-the-scenes look at so many amazing businesses and organizations throughout Carroll County.

Most importantly, this experience allowed me to build new friendships, connections, and relationships with so many passionate people who care deeply about our communities. ❤️

I am incredibly thankful for this opportunity and look forward to continuing to grow in my role and seeing where this journey takes me!

As we head into Memorial Day weekend, we want to take a moment to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. 🇺🇸

Thank you to all who have served and continue to serve. We are forever grateful for your courage, sacrifice, and dedication.

Please note that the MAP office will be closed Friday, May 22 through Monday, May 25 in observance of Memorial Day. We will reopen on Tuesday, May 26.

Last week I had the opportunity to attend The Exchange in Council Bluffs — an event focused on arts, community, and economic development. 🎨🏙️

The conference was held at the beautiful Hoff Family Arts & Culture Center, and I was able to tour The Harvester Artist Lofts & Gallery Space while also attending an inspiring breakout session on placemaking.

It was incredible connecting with so many creative and passionate individuals who are working to make their communities stronger through the arts. Events like this spark so many new ideas, and I’m excited to continue finding ways to incorporate more art, creativity, and vibrant community spaces right here in Manning. ❤️

Big things start with small ideas — and I left feeling very inspired!
