As of tomorrow, the Brockport Warming Center will officially close for the season. We are incredibly grateful for the unwavering support from our community—it truly made all the difference.

A heartfelt thank you to Pastor Dan and Brockport First Baptist Church for once again opening your doors and allowing us to serve over 500 individuals this season. Your generosity created a safe, welcoming, and dignified space for so many in our community.

To our first responders—especially the Brockport Police Department—thank you for your constant presence, your partnership, and your willingness to step in during some of the most critical moments. Your compassion did not go unnoticed. You showed up not just as responders, but as protectors, problem-solvers, and steady support for both our guests and our staff. We are deeply grateful for the trust and collaboration you brought to this work.

And to my staff and team leads—there truly aren’t enough words. You showed up in every sense of the word. Long nights, last-minute calls, difficult situations—you handled it all with grace, heart, and unwavering commitment. You treated every single person who walked through those doors with dignity, respect, and compassion. You went above and beyond, time and time again, not because you had to, but because you care deeply about this work and the people we serve. Your dedication, teamwork, and resilience are what made this season such a success. I am beyond proud and incredibly grateful to stand beside you. I could not have done this without you—especially our amazing team leads who helped carry this mission forward every single day.

Thank you all for making this season one of impact, care, and community.

Here’s your latest update as we head into the final stretch of the season! We’re hoping Mother Nature has gotten that last bit of cold weather out of her system 🥶➡️🌷. It’s been a long season, but such a rewarding one, and we truly appreciate everyone’s support along the way 💙

We’ll be sure to keep you posted as soon as we have an official closing date. And don’t forget—be on the lookout 👀 for updates on when we’ll reopen next season!

🚨 Code Blue Update 🚨

There is no Code Blue until 4/4. Starting 4/5 through 4/7, Code Blue will be in effect. ❄️

On Easter Sunday, 4/5, we will be available to open at 8 PM if you need a warm place. Please call our service at 585-340-1355 and our staff will be ready to open the doors. 🏠

Your safety, warmth, and comfort are our priority. You are not alone—we care and we are here for you. 🌟🙏

Community Update

Our warming center will be closed Monday (3/30), Tuesday (3/31), and Wednesday (4/1).

We will provide updates as soon as possible regarding any changes or reopening information.

This time of year can be unpredictable, with weather conditions changing quickly, so we truly appreciate your patience and understanding as we adjust operations to best serve the community.

As temperatures begin to shift, we will also be starting to wind down our warming center operations for the season. Please stay tuned for updates on upcoming closures.

We also want to take a moment to thank our incredible community for your unwavering support, generous donations, and willingness to help your fellow man. Because of you, we have been able to serve those who need it most.

We are already looking ahead, and with your continued support, next year will be even better.

There will be no Code Blue Wednesday night into Thursday morning.

Code Blue will be in effect from 3/26 through 3/28, so we will be open at least until Saturday morning. We will reassess conditions at that time and provide any updates as needed.

❄️ Code Blue Extended! ❄️

Code Blue has been extended until March 25th. We’ll reassess conditions at that time. Mother Nature isn’t giving up on the cold, so we’ll remain available to keep our doors open for anyone in need. 💙

Code Blue will remain in effect through 3/21. We will close on 3/21 and reopen on 3/22 at 8:00 AM. Code Blue will then remain in effect through 3/24, at which time we will reassess conditions. ❄️

This is the time of year when we may be open some nights and closed others due to the ever-changing Western New York weather. ❄️🌤️

As we begin to wind down the Code Blue season, please stay tuned for updates regarding when we will fully close operations.

Good afternoon everyone. Due to the continued cold temperatures, Code Blue has been extended through 3/20. ❄️

If you or anyone you know is in need of a warm, safe place to get out of the elements, we are here to help. Please call 585-340-1355 and a staff member will make sure the doors are open for you.

❄️🌬 Mother Nature is still holding on to winter!

Because of the continued cold temperatures, Code Blue has been extended through the 17th. We will reassess weather conditions at that time.

Our priority is making sure everyone in our community has a safe and warm place during these cold nights. ❤️

If you, or someone you know, needs a warm place to stay, please call our service line at 585-340-1355 and our staff will make sure someone is there to open the doors.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out or share this information with anyone who may need it. No one should be left out in the cold.

Well, the weather is going to get colder again, and it’s that time of year when spring pretends she’s here while winter is still sitting in her chair waiting to come back. ❄️🌷

Code Blue will be in effect from 3/11 through 3/13. We will reassess conditions at that time based on the weather conditions.

If you or anyone you know is in need of a warm place to stay, please call 585-340-1355 and our service will make sure a team member is available to assist.

As we begin winding down the Code Blue season, with only a few weeks left, we want to send a huge shout out and heartfelt thank you to everyone who has made this possible. Thank you to DSS, our incredible staff, our dedicated team leads, our community partners, and the many community members who stepped up throughout the season. Your support, compassion, and willingness to work together have truly made a difference.

Because of this collective effort, lives were saved and individuals were able to get the help, warmth, and support they needed during some of the coldest nights of the year. It takes a village to care for a community, and we are incredibly grateful to be part of one that shows up when it matters most.

We truly could not have done this without you. So thank you, and thank you again. 🙏❄️
