📣 MCFA Project Assistance Opportunity

Madison County youth who may need financial assistance in order to participate in an MCFA animal or Ag Mechanics project may be eligible for support through the committee.

📅 Application Deadline: September 30

This program is intended to help exhibitors who have a genuine financial need that would otherwise prevent them from completing a project.

Program Requirements & Guidelines:

• This assistance is intended to be a one-time opportunity. Previous recipients may apply again, but additional assistance will be awarded at the committee’s discretion.

• Applicants must demonstrate a financial need that limits their ability to show an animal or complete an eligible Ag Mechanics project.

• All required MCFA forms and paperwork must be completed.

• Ag Mechanics projects are eligible, with project assistance capped at $1,000.

• The committee may pay approved project expenses and reasonable feed costs charged through Standley’s Feed, provided those expenses directly relate to the approved project.

• Students must maintain passing grades.

• A monthly progress report must be submitted to the committee.

• Exhibitors are REQUIRED to complete a record book that includes:

Monthly reports
Photographs showing project progress
Copies of invoices and receipts
Required record book forms

⚠️ The completed record book is required in order for the exhibitor to sell their project in the MCFA auction.

• The applicant and their parent/guardian must meet with the committee BEFORE beginning the project.

• Students receiving assistance are required to attend at least 3 monthly Madison County 4-H or FFA Chapter meetings.

Their goal is to help remove financial barriers and give deserving Madison County youth the opportunity to experience the responsibility, hard work, and rewards that come with completing an MCFA project. ❤️🍀🐄🐖🐐🐑🔨

📅 Applications must be submitted by September 30!

🍀 Come Discover What 4-H Has to Offer! 🍀

Sometimes, the biggest things our kids gain from an experience isn't something you can put in a ribbon or a trophy. ❤️

4-H is about giving kids a place to discover who they are, learn new things, try something new, build confidence, and make friendships that can last a lifetime. 🌱

Whether your child loves animals, being creative, meeting new people, learning new skills—or they’re simply looking for a place where they can belong—there is a place for them in 4-H. 🍀

We would love for you to come out, meet us, ask questions, enjoy some ice cream and cookies, and see what Bedias 4-H is all about! 🍦🍪

🍀 4-H Enrollment Update! 🍀

The new 4-H enrollment system is now up and running!

We suggest waiting until September 1st
or coming to our Bedias 4-H Round up on Monday, September 7th—before re-enrolling your 4-H member(s) or before enrolling new members..
This will give everyone time to become familiar with the new system and allow any beginning hiccups to be worked out.

If you do enroll them please know that while Bedias 4-H Club is listed not all Clubs are listed quite yet.

We’ll be happy to help families with enrollment at our Bedias 4-H Round up! We will also have a couple computers there to assist anyone.

We’re excited to begin another great 4-H year! 💚
