Indigenous Wellbriety was created to fill the gaps in resources for those wishing to connect spiritually and utilizing Wellbriety for Indigenous and spiritual community members who are seeking assist

ance in substance use and alcohol addiction. The organization is fiscally sponsored by United Way Southwest Colorado. Funding has been attained from local and state wide grants to provide Wellbriety Talking Circles, peer-to-peer coaching, street outreach and sober-led, family-friendly community events. We provide advocacy for our program participants in accessing community resources and the opportunity to do community services and volunteer. IW team collaborates with the Sih Hasin Street Medicine program to provide street outreach for our homeless relatives. IW aims to collaborate and capacity build with our local organizations in Montezuma County and neighboring counties in the southwest Colorado regions along with including Ute Tribal community members.
