Hey friends! It’s been a bit since I last popped on my socials to say “hello!” Forgive me but during the holidays, I took a small trip to Santa Claus Village in Finland! I scampered through quite a bit of snow but was able to help Santa finish all the toys just in time for Christmas Eve! Whew! Oh and I made a new friend while I was there and she came back to BA with me for a visit! Don’t worry, I showed her all the historic stops around town and got a refresher on all things BA myself! 2022 is off to a busy start for this lil mouse!

Man, this guy takes his job very seriously. I said to him several times “hey friend, who pulls your sled?” He refused to break character, stayed quiet as a mouse. (Well, as quiet as most mice🐁). Anyone out there know a crew that could pull me in my crystal sled on Christmas Eve?

ABOUT THE CLASS:
DIY Lake Valley, Rachel Rose landscape painting classes for elementary, middle school and high school aged kids. Please note, the classes are limited to 20 students per class. Once you have sent your application, a member of The Museum Broken Arrow team will confirm your registration. Program support provided by Art Bridges.

Rose uses themes and imagery from the history of children’s literature to create a dream-like story about loneliness, imagination, and longing for personal connection. Images from from Lake Valley will inspire our artists to paint their own Rachel Rose landscape!
