Volunteers Needed for the Festival in the Field!

Hey everyone! We're gearing up for our exciting Festival in the Field on Saturday, July 27th, and we need YOUR help to make it a success!

We're looking for volunteers to assist with:
- Parking 🚗
- Food Serving 🍔
- Drink Tent 🍻

Volunteer Perks
- Free ticket to the festival
- A meal
- 2 drink tickets

If you're interested in volunteering for a short shift, please comment your name below, and we'll reach out to you individually to share the shifts we still need to fill.

Extra Help Needed: If anyone has some extra time, we'll be putting up the stage on Wednesday July 24th @3 pm in the field next to the market. Any help would be greatly appreciated! 🙌

🌟UNDERCOVER🌟 has been gearing up for this breakout show for months in their private studio just south of Boston, and they can't wait to rock your world!

Mark Po***ck will be rocking the keyboards!

Nicolas Cavelti, brings his amazing solo work and incredible accompaniment to supercharge the band.

Dave Rooney, a seasoned drummer with impressive credentials (including a callback from "The Voice"!), will be locking in the rhythm all night.

Lars Stone on bass is driving UNDERCOVER into interplanetary warp speed!

With four-part harmonies, soaring solos, dynamic volume changes, and an overall amazing vibe, UNDERCOVER is set to deliver a show you won't want to miss.

Post 33 is seeking veterans to march in this year's Memorial Day parade. Whether you're a year-round resident, part of our local community, a beloved summer veteran, currently serving, or not, we would love to have you join us!

For those who prefer not to march, we will be providing rides to ensure everyone can participate comfortably.

Join us on July 20th for the American Legion Hall, Post 33 Festival in the Field, 3 PM - 10 PM at the field next to the North Haven Market, as we pay tribute to our beloved veterans, both present and past, and dance the night away!

This event is not just about celebration; it's about showing our unwavering support and gratitude. Whether your loved one served in the past or is currently serving, we invite you to make a tribute donation in their honor.

By supporting our event, you're not only commemorating their service but also contributing and supporting the restoration of the Legion Hall building (more information to come about the project and hopes for the space... we want to have the lights on all year round and help support our community, as well as the economic diversity of downtown).

Let's come together as a community to honor those who have selflessly served our country. Every donation, big or small, makes a difference.

Join us for the eagerly awaited return of the North Haven American Legion Post No. 33 Festival!

After a hiatus since 1986, the North Haven American Legion Post 33 and friends of the Legion are thrilled to revive this beloved annual tradition.

The Legion Festival is a community cornerstone dating back to 1948, emerging in the wake of WWII to reunite the community after hardship. Every August, for 2 to 3 days, the North Haven Legion Post and Auxiliary organized a weekend of joy, featuring town games, a parade, a play, and a live music show, reminiscent of today's Community Days. Sadly, the festival concluded in 1986 due to the waning resources of the North Haven Legion Post and Auxiliary.

With steadfast support from our community, we're excited to resurrect this cherished tradition. While we're condensing the affair into a fun-filled evening event, the event will be as vibrant as ever!

Bring the whole family together and immerse yourselves in a myriad of activities, all while dancing and grooving to live music throughout the afternoon and into the evening.

Satisfy your cravings with an old-fashioned pig roast courtesy of North Haven Market. This kickoff event aims to rekindle cherished memories and traditions while celebrating the camaraderie that defines our island community.
