We need YOU! Each year, we sell thousands of tree seedlings during an annual sale, which means we have many orders that need to be prepared. We need help separating orders and heeling-in seedlings in compost to get them ready to re-forest our county!

Volunteer shifts are 3 hours long. Sign up for one or more! Lunch provided for all volunteers each day between 11a and 12p noon

March 18th: 8a-11a & 12p - 3p

March 20th: 8a-11a & 12p - 3p

Interested in volunteering to help prep tree seedlings? Please contact Conservation Program Specialist Cindy Meyer at [email protected] with your availability!

We are excited to officially announce the creation of the Urban Conservation Learning Lab!! This is a project spearheaded by the Warren County Soil & Water Conservation District - it will be housed on land owned by the Warren County Foundation in downtown Lebanon.
This Learning Lab will be the home of 7 different stations that provide real examples of environmentally friendly actions homeowners in any landscape can take, from rain gardens to composting to turf alternatives. We would love everyone to come out on October 14th to the ribbon cutting ceremony!

Make environmentally friendly choices this Easter!

With Easter right around the corner, remember that plastic Easter basket grass (left) lasts forever in the environment, often ending up in bird's nests and our waterways. Opt for the crinkled paper version (right). It eventually biodegrades and is much safer. Or even better, make your own re-purposed paper Easter grass so you can skip the plastic packaging all together! 🐰🐣🌱
