The Commissioners have not withdrawn the MOU yet . We need to start showing up again to let them know we are here snd waiting. They must ensure McCay Brothers MOU is over and dead . MOU will permanently stop the proposed tower in the Ramapo Reservation.

Where things stand:

Bergen County against the tower and has internally agreed to begin the process of withdrawing the McCay Brothers MOU we need find out where things stand

This is a big win—We still have need to make sure they finish the job.

We achieved a major victory, but the fight is not over. We must ensure Bergen County formally withdraws the McCay Brothers MOU. Withdrawing the MOU will permanently stop the proposed tower in the Ramapo Reservation.

Where things stand:

Bergen County has publicly come out against the tower and has internally agreed to begin the process of withdrawing the McCay Brothers MOU.
Commissioner leadership is proceeding carefully due to potential legal exposure, particularly claims that the MOU grants McCay enforceable rights.
The County and our next steps
The County Issued a public statement confirming it is not moving forward with the tower project.
We need to show public support thank the Commissioners through letters to the editor, emails, and public comments.Also reinforcing why its a bad project and the need to withdraw the MOU
We need Use letters, reports, and presentations to build a strong record showing misrepresentations and flawed assumptions in the MOU.
Work toward introducing and passing a formal resolution to withdraw the MOU.

This is a big win—We still have work to do. To finish the job.
