Today is Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, the 84th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, which resulted in the deaths of nearly 2,400 people and thrust the United States into the second World War.

VFW Auxiliary National President Lois Callahan is in Hawaii today for the remembrance ceremony, as is VFW Commander-in-Chief Carol Whitmore. We will share photos later today, when received.

Our hearts are with the remaining Pearl Harbor survivors, the families of those lost that day and the loved ones of those who survived the attack but have since passed away.

Flag Retirement Ceremony

We will have a Flag Retirement Ceremony on June 14 at 5 pm. The location will be at the Renaissance Scooting Club.
