Next week, a long-held vision for the future of law enforcement training in Kentucky becomes reality, and YOU'RE INVITED!
๐ On Wednesday, April 29, 2026, we are proud to celebrate the groundbreaking of the Department of Criminal Justice Training's new Western Kentucky Law Enforcement Training Facility in Madisonville.
This moment represents years of dedication, planning, partnership and belief from so many people across the commonwealth, including the leadership and support of Governor Andy Beshear.
This new facility will expand access to high-quality training, strengthen regional opportunities for western Kentucky officers, and help ensure peace officers can receive the professional development they need closer to home.
Because professional law enforcement doesnโt happen by chance.
Itโs built with investment, vision, and a commitment to those who serve.
We are incredibly excited to see this dream come to life and grateful to everyone who helped make this day possible. Please celebrate with us in person or by viewing a livestream on DOCJT's page.
