CAM Partners to Support “Care for Haiti” School Initiative

Warm Spring Greetings CAMites and Friends,

As the season of renewal arrives, we are reminded of the strength of our Caribbean community and the power we have to uplift one another across our region.

For the fourth year, the Caribbean Association of Madison (CAM) is proud to partner with the Madison Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., through their International Awareness and Involvement Committee, to support the “Care for Haiti” fundraiser for the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Cynthia Butler-McIntyre Elementary School in Cherette, Haiti.

Since opening in June 2013, the school has served more than 250 children each day by providing meals, clean drinking water, and a quality education free of charge to students and their families.

The Madison Alumnae Chapter is currently collecting donations through April 15, 2026 to help support meals, school supplies, and operational expenses for the school.
