FDLRS Miccosukee serves families in Gadsden, Jefferson, Leon, Madison, Taylor, and Wakulla counties. As you know, developmental screenings are an important first step in identifying a child's strengths and determining whether additional support or evaluation may be helpful. Our free Child Find screenings are available for children ages 3–5 who are not yet enrolled in public school and look at areas such as communication, motor skills, cognitive, social-emotional development, vision, and hearing.

FDLRS Miccosukee works with families and connects them with their local school district when additional evaluation or support may be needed.

EARTH ANGELS REQUEST FOR ASSISTANCE

We have a woman in our community who is preparing to move into an apartment, but she is missing two very important necessities:

A refrigerator

A stove/range

At this point, we are not looking for anything fancy or new. If you have a clean, working refrigerator or stove that you no longer need, we would be very grateful to hear from you. Anything will do as long as it works.

Once we find potential appliances, we can get the proper measurements from the apartment to make sure they will fit before making arrangements.

Maybe you're replacing an appliance, renovating, or simply have one sitting unused that could be a blessing to someone starting over.

Maybe you are a local business that sells used appliances and could gift one to her for a tax deductible receipt.

If you have a working refrigerator or stove that you would be willing to donate, please comment below or send us a private message.

And if you don't have an appliance to donate, please share this post.
