Mad City Paddlers, with a home base of Madison Wisconsin, is a club devoted to pursuing paddle sports of every sort. Members organize a wide variety of club trips for flat water canoeing, canoe touring, sea kayaking, and whitewater paddling.

Lots of obstacles to get around over and under or through on the Plover river today with 16 friends and new friends. For some of us this was day 3 paddling of 4 camping at Hartman Creek state park. Paddling, hiking, and a bonfire each night with great friends. Thanks everyone that joined us this weekend on the Wisconsin river, Waupaca chain of lakes and the Plover river.

See you all at the Independence Day picnic, meeting, and gear sale/swap. The grill will be ready by noon and be kept going until about 1:15. Quarterly meeting starts at 1:30pm, and the gear sale/swap runs throughout until about 3pm. Happy 250th birthday, America!
