We look forward to seeing you all this Saturday, March 21 for Spring Into Paddling, the quarterly MCP meeting, at the Goodman Community Center (149 Waubesa St). You don't have to be an MCP Member to attend, but we ask that members RSVP on the website so we can get a feel for attendance. We'll have introductions, socializing, meeting agenda, and a presentation on using the MCP website from 11am to 1245pm. From 1 to 3pm there will be presentations on shuttling, boat selection, and safe boat loading and transportation. Bring any paddling or camping gear you want to sell or swap. The gear sale and swap will take place all day.

The recent MCP newsletter went to spam or junk for a lot of folks for some reason, and the link to sign up to staff our booth at Canoecopia was included. Please sign up for a shift if you haven't already. You get a wristband for show floor admission if you work at least two hours. Also, if you didn't get the recent newsletter and/or aren't seeing at least a couple emails per week from forums to which you are subscribed, be sure to check your spam/junk mail folder and mark anything from us as "not junk" or "not spam."

We had a good turnout for the Christmas Party despite the extremely cold conditions. There were some epic white elephant gifts this year, including a brand new deck bag that had been donated to the club. Thanks to Sue Bunda W**d for reserving the space at New Perspective for us.

New Orleans Take Out recipe jambalaya is one of many potluck items on the menu at today's MCP Holiday Party. Jared wrapped up his new CamReeler and a set of StrapMasters for his white elephant. You'd be the first to own both new products! See you all at 2pm at New Perspective in Sun Prairie.
