Exciting news! We are grateful to share that the TruStage Foundation has awarded The Salvation Army of Dane County a $30,000 grant to support our RISE (Rehousing Into Supporting Environments) Rapid Rehousing Program. This investment will help us continue providing housing stability and support for individuals and families working toward a brighter future. Thank you to the TruStage Foundation for partnering with us to strengthen our community and create lasting impact. ❤️

📣Nationally, about 65% of families remain housed 20 months after a shelter stay. At The Salvation Army of Dane County, our Housing Stability Program achieves a 93% housing stability success rate.

That's not just a statistic. It's families staying in their homes, children sleeping in their own beds, and lives moving forward with stability and hope.

❤️💛💚 Hispanic Heritage Month

Did you know Hispanic Heritage Month runs from September 15 to October 15 because it coincides with the independence anniversaries of Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Mexico?

What began as Hispanic Heritage Week in 1968 grew into the month-long celebration we know today. But heritage has always lived beyond a calendar date, carried through family traditions, food, music, language, faith, and stories passed down through generations.

This month, The Salvation Army of Dane County got to celebrate the richness of cultures that continue to shape our communities every day.
