Dharma Without Dogma Meditation Group Thanks to the foul weather this weekend, we're canceling tomorrow's meetup. Have a safe and peaceful holiday!

We'll also be taking a holiday break, so our next get together will be the Sunday after New Years.

After a lot of thought, I've decided to suspend future meetups. I've enjoyed meeting and practicing with many of you, but it's clear that the current arrangement is not working. Many people have come, but few have returned more than once or twice. This tells me the current setup is not meeting peoples needs. If you're in the Madison area and want to start a group, let me know!

Dharma friends:

Sorry for the late notice. One of the union groups organizing this week's protests at the Capitol is using the Mimosa activity room as workspace for that effort. In solidarity with them, I thought it best to cancel this week's meeting. But I hope you are taking time throughout these trying days to create a little peace in your corner of the world. It arises from my ancient twisted karma that the NFL has scheduled the Packers/Bears game at the same time as our weekly meeting. So we'll take a week off, and get together again on Sunday, Jan. 30, at our usual time and place.

We had a quiet hour of sitting practice yesterday, then some discussion with two members who are new meditators sharing their experiences and questions about practice. Next Sunday will be our last get-together of the year, so if you're nearby I hope to see you!
