Applications are now open for the 47th Annual Art Fair Off the Square, which will take place on July 11th and 12th, and the 37th Annual Winter Art Fair Off the Square, scheduled for November 7th and 8th in Madison, Wisconsin.

These juried fairs are sponsored by the Wisconsin Alliance of Artists and Craftspeople, Inc., a non-profit, tax-exempt organization that promotes visual arts in Wisconsin.

Both art fairs are open to all Wisconsin artists and craftspeople, eighteen years of age or older, whose work is of original design and ex*****on. The starting booth fee is $315 for Art Fair Off the Square and $300 for the Winter Art Fair Off the Square, plus a non-refundable $30 jury fee per category. Four images of the artist's work and one of the display are required.

Applications are available only at zapplication.org.

The final date to submit your application is March 2, 2026.

March 2: Application Due for both AFOS and WAFOS

March 14: Annual Membership Meeting, 1–3 p.m.

March 16-27: Jury Process (March 25: Jury convenes 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.)
Artist payments cannot be processed during this period.

April 1: Youth Art Contract Due for Art Fair Off the Square
April 4: WAAC Board Election Closes
April 10: Art Fair Off the Square Acceptance Due
May 13: Art Fair Off the Square Food Vendor Contracts Due
June 25: What to Expect at the Art Fair Off the Square Zoom Session (1-2 p.m.)
