MadVa Performing Arts

As promised, we did have a little something up our sleeves. While the original plan is on hold, we are excited to announce a new original production by MadVA. Christmas at the Barn follows a group of Carolers sharing the stories of Christmas in music and song, with a Carol Sing A Long to go with! Come sing and sip hot cocoa in the Barn at Stoney Point and get into the holiday season in Madison Style!

We are still recruiting singers and actors to help round out our cast. All ages are welcome to participate (children under 12 with a parent). Rehearsal schedule will be announced soon.

After much thought and deliberation, we have decided we need to postpone the production of The Gift of the Magi until next season. There are many factors that play into this decision, not the least of which is the plain and simple fact that we don't yet have a permanent, indoor, location. You, the people, are the heart of MadVA Performing Arts, and we can't do anything at all without willing and active members and volunteers! However, a crew without a ship still can't sail- YET.

I'm a big believer in the power of yet. While we can't do the full production of The Gift of the Magi YET, please keep an eye out for an announcement about our next endeavors. In the meantime, many of our area community theaters are performing Winter productions this season and could use your support as well.

We're looking for actors of all abilities and ages, as well as musically talented individuals who want to sing or play an instrument to round out our performance with lovely Christmas Carols.

Hey, that's us! Thank you again, Stony Brook Farm - Earle and Betty Martin- for showing us such amazing hospitality. We can't wait to be back in the barn again!

Saturday night in the barn was the inaugural performance of MADVA Performing Arts show Minuteman . It was standing room only!
