Dear Volunteers, Supporters, Allies, and Communities,
We hope this message finds you well. After 14 years of wonderful moments of unity, we are writing to announce that this year's Black and Latino Unity Picnic (BLUP) will be cancelled.
We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you who has been a part of this amazing journey. Your dedication and support have made BLUP a symbol of unity and a beacon of hope for our communities.
As we reflect on the past years, we have decided to take a step back and reevaluate our goals and activities while staying true to our mission. Our commitment to promoting Black and Latino unity and fighting for social justice remains unwavering.
In the coming months, we will be announcing the new stage of our organization and the exciting initiatives we have planned for the future. We are confident that this period of reflection and redesign will lead us to even greater heights of impact and positive change.
Once again, thank you for your unwavering support and dedication to BLUP. We couldn't have achieved all that we have without you. We are excited to share our new journey with you soon.

Estimados voluntarios, simpatizantes, aliados y a las comunidades en general,
Esperamos que este mensaje les encuentre bien. Después de 14 años de maravillosos momentos de unidad, escribimos para anunciar que el Picnic de Unidad de las Comunidades Latina y Morena (BLUP, por sus siglas en inglés) de este año será cancelado.
Queremos expresar nuestra más sincera gratitud a todos y cada uno de ustedes que han sido parte de este increíble viaje. Su dedicación y apoyo han hecho de BLUP un símbolo de unidad y un faro de esperanza para nuestras comunidades.
Mientras reflexionamos sobre los últimos años, hemos decidido dar un paso atrás y reevaluar nuestras metas y actividades mientras nos mantenemos fieles a nuestra misión. Nuestro compromiso de promover la unidad morena y latina y luchar por la justicia social sigue siendo inquebrantable.
En los próximos meses, estaremos anunciando la nueva etapa de nuestra organización y las emocionantes iniciativas que tenemos planeadas para el futuro. Estamos seguros de que este período de reflexión y rediseño nos llevará a alturas aún mayores de impacto en nuestras comunidades.
Una vez más, gracias por su inquebrantable apoyo y dedicación a BLUP. No podríamos haber logrado todo lo que tenemos sin el. Estamos emocionados de compartir nuestro nuevo viaje pronto.
