Department of Education’s Fresh Start initiative is here. Fresh Start is a free opportunity for borrowers to quickly and easily get out of federal student loan default. There’s no lengthy resolution process like before, but student loans are confusing! It’s why Student Loan Start Over is available for Milwaukee County residents to access free loan counseling support. Although Fresh Start is not a
loan forgiveness or relief program, its benefits are too important to be overlooked or misunderstood. The Wisconsin Department of Administration awarded Ascendium Education Solutions a grant to provide free, personalized counseling to help Milwaukee County residents resolve their defaulted federal student loans. We’re a Wisconsin-based nonprofit with more than 50 years of student loan expertise. We’ve helped millions of borrowers nationwide avoid or start over after student loan default. Our hands-on support includes a personal counselor to help you access Fresh Start and resolve your defaulted federal student loan. Comment Policy:
