Our 3rd night is done and we await the last night tonight. A good crowd and nice bunch of volunteers! Great weather - and more of the same predicted for tonight. Come on down: 5-7 pm. Rides start at pool parking lot. Cost: $5, cash only. Kids 3 and under are free. Concessions available. Please note: No pets and park gate fees apply.

Today (Oct. 21, 2026) students from Madison High School joined volunteers from Friends of Clifty Falls SP to remove invasive plants from around the pool parking lot. The students worked hard, and together we cleared several areas.

Great First Week! Over 430 people rode the 2 nights and we netted $2,230.75 from rides and concessions plus some donations.

Here are some pics from Saturday night's hayrides including the Mayor of Madison!

Hayrides continue this coming Fri/Sat Oct 23-24, 5-7 pm. Rides start at pool parking lot. Cost: $5, cash only. Kids 3 and under are free. Concessions available. No pets. Park gate entry fees apply.

We had a great first night with the cool damp windy weather not withstanding. Over 120 people, great concessions, and lots of color. We started a bit early (good thing we were ready) as a bunch of folks came by. Enjoy the pics - we'll be ready tonight with sun, low 50's and little or no wind!

The colors are blooming at Clifty (going to be a glorious accent to this Friday and Saturday's hayrides)! The several species of asters, some goldenrod, and others hugging the edge of the trail. This is Trail 6 - with great views across the canyon and along the trail.
