Today marked a heartfelt celebration of Flag Day as the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 99 - Madill, Oklahoma and the American Legion Post 99 group joined forces with dedicated volunteers from the community, including members from the Madill Church of Christ and local Boy Scout troops. Together, they honored our veterans by placing flags at the headstones in Woodberry Cemetery, ensuring that their sacrifices are remembered and celebrated.
This collaborative effort brought together individuals of all ages, showcasing the spirit of gratitude and respect for those who have served our country. The sight of flags waving gently in the breeze not only beautified the cemetery but also served as a poignant reminder of the bravery and commitment these heroes displayed.
A special thank you goes out to everyone who participated in this meaningful event. Your efforts ensure that the legacy of our veterans continues to shine brightly in our community. Let’s keep this spirit of service alive, honoring those who have given so much for our freedom. 🇺🇸✨
