Hello Peanut’s Closet family! We just wanted to share some information for our running friends. If you are registering to run the two cities marathon (full, half, 10K or 5K) you have the opportunity to support Peanut’s Closet.

A crib was required for a potential new foster child placement. In response, we reached out into our community to ask if anyone owned a crib in good condition they were willing to sell. Today was a successful work day at Peanut’s Closet.

Hey neighbors ! I wanted to reach out on behalf of Peanut’s Closet. Madera County Social Services contacted us looking to get several beds and mattresses for a family that is trying to keep their children out of foster care. They are in need of 5 twin mattresses, 2 bunk beds and a twin bed. If you have any of these items lying around that you would want to donate, then please respond here.

If you would love to participate in helping meet these needs we also accept tax deductible donations. Donations to the ministry of Peanut’s Closet are 100% used to meet the needs of children in crisis. You can donate at

A $50 donation can purchase a twin bed frame.
A $75 donation can purchase a twin mattress.
A $130 donation can purchase a bunk bed.

Hello friends and family! I wanted to take the time to reach out to thank all of our supporters. If you have donated time, items or money, or just shared the services that we offer, then you have helped make a difference in the Central Valley and beyond.

Yesterday, we were given the amazing opportunity to support a reunification that is about to take place. So, we appreciate each of you and your willingness to help be the hands and feet of Jesus. I hope to get to share this story of reunification in the near future and know that each of you are a part of this story.

Helping kids and families in crisis isn’t complicated. Here are some examples how your monetary donations can help Peanut’s Closet!

$10/month - car seat
$15/month - bed
$30/month - bunk bed
$20/month - crib
$3/month - case of diapers
$28/month - one month of storage (we have multiple units)
$100/month - one storage unit for a year

We have helped approximately 125 kids in crisis

We have given away approximately $20,000 with of donate items (new and used).

Busy day for Peanut’s Closet!

We partnered with Fostering Connections Dashboard to give almost $1000 worth of items to a Madera County family in crisis to help prevent kids from going into foster care.

We were able to support a Madera County foster family by giving them a twin bed and mattress.

We also were able to help a Madera County teen mom who needed a little extra help with her soon to be born baby.

And that is just today!!

Madera County is reaching out to us regularly to help support families in crisis.
