Canton Public Library Board Member, I am deeply passionate about our library's vital role in the community and dedicated to empowering it to reach its fullest potential. I’m running for re-election to the Canton Public Library Board of Directors for another term and would love your support in the November 2024 election. I’m passionate about our library and its role in our community, and I’m commit
ted to helping it reach its full potential. If you have any questions or just want to chat, feel free to drop me a line at [email protected]. A little about me:
I’ve been a part of Canton for over 20 years and have loved watching our community grow. My husband and I, along with our two boys, have really enjoyed being part of this vibrant place. My Asian-American background and the hard work of my immigrant parents have taught me a lot about dedication and perseverance. Growing up in Cincinnati with our family’s restaurant, I learned the value of teamwork and responsibility that has never left me. I went to The Ohio State University for my degree in Purchasing and Operations Management and then got my MBA from Eastern Michigan University. For the past 17 years, I’ve worked at Ford Motor Company, in various Supply Chain roles and Contracts Management. Outside of work, I volunteer at my children's school and used to coach the YMCA Girls on the Run program, which focuses on empowering young girls through confidence and leadership development. Family is central to my life, and I support my children in their activities while also enjoying travel and performing Polynesian Cultural dance at summer festivals and concerts in Michigan. I’m excited about the chance to keep supporting our library and making sure it continues to be a place of learning and opportunity for everyone. I’m looking forward to continuing to work together to make our library and community even better.
