Ánimo has 3 teams this year. Ánimo A team, Ánimo B team and Ánimo Maxi(the old guys). Tonight Ánimo A had their first game of the season. Tomorrow the old guys play in the final four of their season!

We have much to sing about and praise God for! Last night we celebrated 3 years of beginning Ánimo! In this song we are singing “Dead things come alive in the name of Jesus!” We are truly seeing men come alive in the name of Jesus!

Thursday nights we host a men's Bible study at the Deeds house. We have been watching the chosen and discussing the themes afterwards.

Today was a special day — Fernando drove himself to church!
He’s now 9 months sober, and through the sale of his beautiful handmade journals, he was able to purchase this much-needed scooter.

Because of polio as a child, Fernando can only walk with crutches, and a broken collarbone makes things even more difficult. This scooter will give him freedom — helping him get to church, run errands, and take part in daily life again.

We’re so proud of how far he’s come and grateful to everyone who has supported him on this journey of healing and hope. 💙

A father and daughter — once separated by addiction — now worshiping together.

While the Deeds family is in the States the work of Ánimo continues. Victor Manuel is the real pastor and leader of the Animo ministry. He receives no salary but chooses to live, work, and disciple these men because of his relationship with Jesus. He is a true friend. Please pray for these men on their journey.
