We are excited to welcome our very first intern! Preston Sloffer will serve with Animo during his gap year between graduating Purdue and going to IU med school! We are excited to see how the Lord will use him in Panajachel and in our Animo family this year.

Yesterday was a very exciting night at our group therapy. We had visitors from Huehuetenango! Fabricio’s brother and his friend drove 3 hours to bless our guys with woodworking tools! This is something very special for Ánimo! It’s the first time we have received this type of support from Guatemalans!

Our Ánimo Futbol team won their first game last night in their first ever official tournament! Check out those new Ánimo uniforms! Anyone want to help sponsor our team? $300 helps us cover the cost of new uniforms and tournament inscription.

Every Thursday Porch de Salomon allows us the opportunity to sell our coffee, bracelets, journals and other things the men have made to their mission teams. This is an amazing blessing to our ministry! It also gives our guys the opportunity to share their stories. Men who most had given up on and stepped over lying in the gutter now have dignity and a place to share.
