It’s with a heavy heart and tearful eyes that we must report that WB James “Tomb Guard“ Tate laid down his working tools and joined the Celestial Lodge Above and the Forever Chapter of the Widows Sons. Please keep his wife, children, and grandchildren in your prayers.

Gate Keepers chapter had a busy Saturday. We had a gender reveal party for a member and his wife, then went to eat together for lunch at Fox Brewery in Forsyth followed by a ride through several counties ending at another establishment in Macon. Great day of brotherhood. Thanks to Oglethorpe and Roosevelt chapters for coming out. Great day all around.

It is with a heavy heart that I must inform everyone that our beloved William Dale "Wild Bill" Lafever laid down his working tools, and entered that spiritual building - that house not made by hands - eternal in the heavens, at 11:02 am MDT today.

He was at his sister's home resting peacefully and watching his favorite westerns on the b**b tube. His loving family was at his side, and I was honored to be asked to be there as a special friend.

I will have details on his internment in Lander, Wyoming over the Labor Day weekend, in the near future. I also need to set up a donation program for a headstone and travel expenses for his family. It is 850 miles from Truth or Consequences, New Mexico to Lander. — in T or C, New Mexico.

Gate Keepers chapter, WSMRA GA would like thank everyone for your continued support. We had 7 different Widows Sons chapters, as well as, other local MCs and RCs show up to support our cookout at Macon Harley. We would also like to thank Macon Harley Davidson for their continued support of Macon area riders.
