The East Macon Community Development Corporation is proud to host our Macon Minds School Supply Drive — and we need your support!

Now through July 30, we’re collecting new school supplies to ensure every child in our community starts the school year ready to learn and thrive.

🎒 Items Needed:
Notebooks, pencils, backpacks, folders, crayons, glue sticks, and more!

We regret to inform you that the Golf + Grub Invitational has been postponed until 2026. While this decision was not made lightly, we believe it is in the best interest of all involved to ensure an even more successful and impactful event in the future.

Honoring a Visionary Leader

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Josh Rogers, the esteemed CEO of NewTown Macon, whose unwavering dedication and visionary leadership profoundly shaped the city of Macon, Georgia.

Under Josh’s guidance, Newtown Macon became a beacon of hope, fostering meaningful change and strengthening the fabric of our community. His tireless efforts to uplift the community, champion equity, and create opportunities will forever be remembered and celebrated.

While we mourn this tremendous loss, we are comforted by the enduring legacy Josh leaves behind—a legacy of compassion, determination, and a commitment to making Macon a brighter, stronger city for all.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to Josh's family, friends, and all those whose lives were touched by his extraordinary work. May we honor his memory by continuing to serve with the same passion and purpose he exemplified.
