Congratulations to our newest club- the Pilot Club of Accra (Ghana)! Thank you to Dr. Emma Oliveira, chartering Club President, and the entire leadership team who worked tirelessly to ensure the club hit the ground running with a successful chartering ceremony, service project and even a farewell dinner for Past International President Sharon Slusher, who graciously took the journey to Ghana to represent Pilot International. More updates to come!

We look forward to seeing Ghana at the 2026 Convention in OKC! Welcome to Pilot International.

It is with immense sadness that Pilot International Headquarters shares the passing of Immediate Past International President (PIP) Nickola ‘Nicki’ Gomez-Dawkins of the Pilot Club of Nassau. PIP Nicki also served as Past Governor of The Bahamas District of Pilots.

Nicki’s legacy and dedication has impacted so many lives internationally and legacies do live on.

As we celebrate her life, please join us in expressing our deepest condolences to her daughter Gabby, her parents Mr. & Mrs. Patrick Gomez, her siblings, family members, friends, and Pilots throughout the world.

We continue to be grateful for Nicki’s lasting impact on Pilot International and her commitment, leadership, friendship and service. A life well lived leaves lasting footprints for others to follow and for that we are truly grateful. We are confident that her footprints will continue to provide a path of excellence and deepened commitment to serving others.

The Pilot Club of Nassau is deeply saddened to announce the passing of Nickola ‘ Nicki’ Gomez-Dawkins, Past President of Pilot Club of Nassau, Past Governor of The Bahamas District of Pilots and Immediate Past President Pilot International.

Nicki was a dedicated Pilot whose leadership, service, and commitment touched countless lives both locally and internationally. Her legacy of compassion, friendship, and service will forever remain in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing and working with her.

During this time of profound loss, we extend our heartfelt condolences to her daughter Gabby, her parents Mr. & Mrs. Patrick Gomez, her siblings, family members, friends, and Pilots everywhere.

We pray that Almighty God grants them strength and comfort in the days ahead.

May her soul rest in eternal peace.
