💚 Thank You, Club of Hearts, Inc. of Georgia Power!

Middle Georgia Community Food Bank was pleased to participate in Agency Awareness Day hosted by Club of Hearts, Inc. of Georgia Power at Georgia Power’s Plant Scherer in Juliette, Georgia.

We are grateful for the opportunity to share more about MGCFB’s mission and the work we do every day to help provide access to nutritious food for neighbors throughout our 24-county service area.

A special thank you to Charlie Ross, Project Manager with Club of Hearts, Georgia Power Company, for the invitation and warm welcome. We were also delighted to connect with Georgia Power employee Madison Danzie, daughter of MGCFB Board Chairman David Danzie—a wonderful example of the relationships that connect our Food Bank to the broader Middle Georgia community.

Representing MGCFB were Will Jones and Melody Carter, who enjoyed sharing more about our work and the importance of strong community partnerships in addressing food insecurity.

Thank you to Club of Hearts and Georgia Power for creating opportunities for nonprofit organizations to increase awareness, build relationships, and share the impact of their work.

Middle Georgia Community Food Bank presented the Attorney General's Cup to Mercer Law as the 2025 Law School Champion of the Georgia Legal Food Frenzy. Mercer Law students raised over $28,000 for the Middle Georgia Community Food Bank and provided more than 100,000 meals for families in Middle Georgia.
