Several local faith groups will be marching for peace today. The march will end at Chandler Park where our regular Thursday protest takes place.

We protest every Saturday from 12-1 on the north side of Macomb's Chandler Park. Today will be a cold one! We'll be bundled up, and take warm-up breaks in our vehicles, as needed. Safety is always our top priority.

The annual MLK event hosted by Mt. Calvary COGIC in Macomb will take place at 10:30am on Monday, January 19th.

Mt. Calvary is located at 1500 E. Pierce Street. Along with the community building program will be a free meal.

There will not be a march. Everything will be held indoors at the church.

You do not need to be a UPI member to fill out these postcards. Anyone who wants Illinois public universities to get adequate funding is encouraged to fill out the form.

Protest in Macomb today from noon to 1:00. The sidewalks are clear and, overnight, Trump bombed Venezuela and kidnapped their president without authorization from Congress. Join us on the north edge of Chandler Park to make your feelings known.

Macomb Coalition:

We hope to get at least 100 people registered for a flashmob-style action should ICE ever come to Macomb. We'd like to purchase whistles and noisemakers for everyone (if you can pitch in a few bucks, that would be awesome) and create a group text for ICE emergencies (or any other violent MAGA nonsense that might come down the pike in the next few years and require quick mobilization).
