Good afternoon to any of those who see this...
I am one of the founders of the Allstarz Offroad Club... As many of those who were close to this operation may know, things havenāt exactly panned out like we had planned and the honest truth is that what we had in the air, we were unable to land.
There are many friendships that have lasted beyond the decal that used to sit on our windshields. Time has gone by but many of us still carry a desire for what we had hoped for from the beginning of this. So anyone who happens to read this message and knows exactly whatās going on and what everything looked like from day one, I ask that you keep reading.
We started this club as a means to unify Offroad enthusiasts and to join one another and grow to give ourselves an āoutletā for our passion of off-roading. We had planned to become one of the most active Offroad groups driven by the principals of equality and comradery. We took what we learned from past club experiences and combined it with new ideas to create something different. And without anything to honestly blame besides harmless disconnection from on another, we slowly separated and what was once a bright idea is now a memory...
But I think we can take that once again as an experience and possibly as a form of motivation to create something new once more. Maybe the missing piece to this puzzle isnāt missing at all. Maybe itās luck, maybe itās natural and then again maybe it doesnāt mean a damn thing.
What Iām getting at here is that despite wether you know me or not, remember our beginning or donāt, you all at some level were a part of what our club was... Iām not talking about the business side of it at all but rather the simple concept of what it was that made us create this group.... I remember when I and the 4 other founders sat at the table and had our first meeting. We threw down every idea and strategy we could think of and voted on it. We drew up what was going to be and everyone left that night with a game plan and a mission... We did this because we wanted an Offroad club that was different from what we had been a part of before... we wanted to keep the drama out, throw away the politics and assemble a simple, democratic but structured club where we could do anything from help each-other turn wrenches to organize weekend camping and off-roading trips. Not particular to any brand of vehicle either.
Iām sure Iām not the only one who still wants this to happen. Iām sure that despite everything that had happened since our start there are still people reading this wanting the same thing.
Iām not formally proposing anything or making any claims except for this:
If you share the passion I do, desire what we had founded our club on and want to be a part of making something new happen, all I ask is that you PM me... tell me your opinion and your ideas and what you think should or shouldnāt/ could or couldnāt happen. All I know is that personally I miss the club. I miss the gatherings, the trips, the wheeling experiences and most importantly the shared passion. I want it to happen again, taking what we learned with us.
I think we can start something new if we come together and make it happen. But I need help.
I also want to go on the record saying that none of this has anything to do with Allstatz the company. They helped back our creation and in turn we endorsed their name in our own. I thank them for that and I want to reiterate that nothing that has happened or will happen shares any reflection on them. This only regarding the club.
If your interested, want to share any idea or possibly as motivated as I am, please pm me...
