**UPDATE: Looking for Part-Time / Potential Permanent Homemaker-Plus Assistance (North Branch Area)**
Hi everyone! Most people in the North Branch area know me—my name is Amy Falk. My husband and I currently live in Southeast Minnesota, but I am reaching out with an updated post as our situation has changed.
I am currently in the hospital, but as soon as I am released, I will be heading up to North Branch to stay for 3 weeks. Unfortunately, my husband's health is worse than we originally thought. Because of this, what started as a stay in North Branch may or may not become permanent after this three-week period. While it is an unknown at this point and I won't know more until after those three weeks, I am looking to connect with and hire staff now just in case a permanent move back to the area happens.
Because of current health issues, I have approval for up to 15 hours a day, 7 days a week for a Homemaker-Plus worker. Whether you are looking for temporary, as-needed work or a position that could transition into a permanent role, this could be a great fit for you!
**Details & Duties:**
* **Pay:** Approximately $20/hour
* **Employment Note:** This is not private pay. Employment and payroll are processed directly through SEMCIL (Southeastern Minnesota Center for Independent Living), based in Rochester, MN.
* **Location:** North Branch, MN area
**Duties include (but are not limited to):**
* Light homemaking and meal prep/serving
* Assistance getting up, dressed, and out of bed
* Occasional bathing assistance
* Walking together outside (weather permitting)
* Occasional help with Benny, my 2-year-old German Shepherd, who is currently a service dog in training
**Next Steps & Contact:**
Because I am still in the hospital and things are in flux, I would love to connect now so we can start the onboarding process with SEMCIL and be ready when I’m discharged.
Please text me at **651-396-1805** if you are interested or have any questions! (Text is preferred right now while I’m in the hospital).
Feel free to share this post with anyone in the area who might be interested. Thank you so much!
