Wow! I am so incredibly grateful for the opportunity to serve on the WRV school board 💙🩶🤍 Thank you to all who voted, gave me words of encouragement, and showed your support. I appreciate all the candidates and their willingness to step up for our community. It’s great to see so much enthusiasm for our school. I’m eager to get started and make a positive impact! 🐾

While approaching Election Day, I wanted to express some of the values that I hope to bring or add to our WRV School Board:

🔵 Integrity: Working in integrity builds trust and credibility with our students, parents, staff, and community. It’s the foundation of effective leadership.

🔵 Transparency: Being open and honest with the decision making process fosters community engagement and learning.

🔵 Accountability: Holding one another accountable leads to more responsible governance and more effective decision-making.

🔵 Fiscal Responsibility: In order for our students to achieve at their highest level, it’s important to utilize funds as efficiently and effectively as possible for their success. It’s also important to identify all stakeholders and their impacts while making financial decisions.

At the end of the day, I want nothing but success and peace of mind for our WRV families and children. I have high expectations for our students and corporation and they deserve nothing less out of their school board in return. I would appreciate your vote this election for WRV School Board District 1! 🔵⚪️🐾

I wanted to introduce myself and announce my candidacy for WRV School Board District 1. I’m a 2010 graduate of White River Valley. I was Valedictorian and Vice President of my senior class. After graduation, I went on to Indiana University where I obtained my bachelor’s degree in Public Financial Management with a minor in Economics. I have since been growing my career as an Accounting Manager for a local utility company.
I married my high school sweetheart and we have two handsome young boys who are the lights of my life. I love my family and my community which both have inspired me to start this school board journey. WRV has given me so much in my life and I’d be grateful for the opportunity to serve its students, teachers, staff, parents, and residents.
